These institutions and organisations , some of them private enterprises, others non-profit organizations, offer some 170 courses. These courses are mainly qualification courses in different fields of industries and services and also ICT (Information and Comouter Technology)courses, language courses, business courses, art courses and others. The most important message of the catalogue, however, is that adult education can mean an excellent opportunity to integrate ourselves in society as far as employability, active citizenship and economic development is concerned.

The main aim of this guide is to propose guidelines to foster the participative use of ICT in Adult Basic Education, from their development to their use and to break the barriers for participation, involvement, study and learning.
